BBC3 continues unlocked. There were serious problems with DP MED-0020 (despite pre-cleaning with the SSErase the recording started from about 486000000000 byte!). Later FS lost communication with Mk5, so that from 16:52 to 17:00 UTC data were lost. An attempt to continue with this DP failed (problem with initializing of the XLROpen variable) so new DP used. |

MK4 formatter failed catastrophically. Recorded 512MBit/sec on disk in VLBA format between ~UT1046-1250, ~UT1411-1450. Software problems forced change to tape, 256Mbis/sec, LCP only, from UT1615. Few scans were lost during an enforced tape change around UT 2000. |
