Severe formatter communication problems all through the experiment; unclear how this affects data quality. Several attempts to improve the situation (check communication or use spare formatter) did not work (but led to a loss of a few minutes of data each time). Due to a Mark5 failure no recording was done between UT2326-2346 (reboot was necessary). Some RFI in the lower bands. |

VC#5 (294.49MHz) degraded by L-band known RFI. VC#1 (230.49MHz) and VC#3 (262.49MHz) were less affeted. Due to a encoder problem, the antenna was operated in computer mode instead of the usual mode. Pointing was checked before the observation. gps-fmout value at 02:35:13UT : 2005.301.02:35:13.03/gps-fmout/+7.641E-007 |
