Antenna stowed due to wind between 4-6 UTC. We also (again!!:-() had problems with the Mark 5 (when switching to an partly recorded pack). Have a look at the log, e.g., the scan_check, very confusing??!! Then (8-12 UTC) we got some of errors "MARK5 return code 6: inconsistent or conflicting request" but the scan_check looked OK. Not sure if the operator noticed the errors. |

Due to short outage at 6:23 we observed off source till 7:00 UT. However, at the experiment end it was noted that the LO was set to 5901 MHz instead of 5900 MHz. We cannot tell whether it was so during the entire experiment or after the outage. We fear the whole experiment had this 1 MHz offset (for prior to the exeperiment we carried out observations with just such value of LO) and suspect similar situation may have happened a few times in the recent past when JIVE reported no fringes to some e |
